Jedi OKC Announcement:

I would like to take this time to invite all yodasnews members and scummers over to my home SW club site jediokc.com, coming up very soon we are getting together for a special club nite to raise money for our fellow club member clkbj (Chad). If any members here live in the Oklahoma city area, and would like to join us for an evening of fun, good food, great conversation, and a chance to win some really cool prizes, I would like to send a personal invite out to all that would like to attend. You all can still enter our drawings if you would like. We have some really awesome prizes, courtesy of the top retailers around. All proceeds will go to our fellow club member Chad, who recently had a stroke at the start of this year, and recently relapsed. If you would like to purchase tickets, they will be $5.00 each. Please pm me, and let me know you are interested. I cannot take paypal for this, sorry folks, but I am happy to accept checks, money orders, and cash at your own risk. When I have set a definite day for this event, and raffles, I will let you all know for sure. The drawings will be recorded live, and shown online to everyone that would like to see them. At this time I would like to thank all the retailers with all my heart that have been so kind enough to donate items to our club. Without any of you, this event would not be able to take place.

We have most of these still available for preorder, but once they a pre sold out, they are gone.

Release Date Changes:
Both the Star Wars Animated Boba Fett Maquette and Princess Leia Maquette domestic ship dates have been pushed back by a month. Early samples were not up to Gentle Giant’s standards of Quality, so the entire production run is being inspected to make sure the integrity of the product is maintained. The Boba Fett Maquette will now be shipping in October and the Princess Leia Maquette will now be shipping in November. The Darth Vader Maquette is still scheduled to release on time.

Attakus News:
Tomorrow we expect our full delivery of the Attakus Gamorrean Guard Statue, Bib Fortuna Statue, Jedi Luke Skywalker Statue and TIE Fighter Pilot Statue. For all of you who preordered them, we will be sending out notices tomorrow. We will also put the extra statues we ordered from Attakus in stock on the website.

Also, up for preorder now are the brand new Sandtrooper and Oola statues which are scheduled for a December 2006-January 2007 Release.

New September Giveaway:

Sideshow News:
Sideshow Obi Wan is now in the house and Qui-Gon should be here by the end of this week so everyone who ordered multiple figures will be emailed along with customers who placed single figure orders. So check your in box for our In Stock Notices.

Also, the Jaws Maquette came in today. Real big box. We have a couple available for sale on the website now and everyone who preordered one was notified tonight.

We should be receiving some restocking as well on the Sideshow Chucky dolls later this week.

We have also heard rumors that Sideshow should have the Medicom VCD Yoda Figure available this week or next. He looks pretty good and is another great addition to Sideshow's / Medicom's VCD/VSD Figure line.

Kotobukiya News:
We are going to finally receive our Kotobukiya Star Wars Princess Leia Slave Figures next week as per Darkhorse. They were supposed to ship last week when we came back from vacation, but some companies unfortunately do not work as fast as we do. My Apologies for the delay.

Razor's Edge News:
Yesterday was officially our 10 month anniversary from the Grand Opening of Razor's Edge Collectibles. So far it's been such a wild ride, an amazing 10 months thanks to all of you. We really appreciate your business, which has helped us grow. As we continue to expand, you will always get the same great customer service, great prices and great giveaways and promotions from us as a thank you for all of your support. We never forget our customers who are helping build us into an Empire (A Little Star Wars Humor Added In), and never will. Which is why I'm still here burning the coals at 10 PM EST. Wait until the 1 year giveaway is announced. It will be something really special. The Staff and I will never stop striving to be the best collectibles website on the net. Some of our customer now affectionately nicknamed me the Terminator, LOL. I get a real kick out of that.
